  • Measure using the same standardised technique throughout pregnancy
  • Do not allow/adjust for descent of the fetal head as
    • The measurement is of the uterine fundus
    • Normal fundal height growth does not flatten at term
    • An uncompromised baby is expected to continue growing until birth
