According to the latest (2019) figures of the Office of National Statistics, stillbirth rates in England have fallen consistently for 8 years to 3.83 /1000.

This represents a 28.4% reduction from the 2000-09 (10 year) average of 5.35, and equates to 1,005 babies saved per year
