5.2 Audit: Monitoring SGA/FGR and detection rates

Background

• Audit is an essential part of GAP, and allows units to monitor and improve their performance.
• The GROW software includes automated reporting of SGA rates, antenatal referral, detection and false positive rates to allow units to audit their own performance.
• All Trusts are able to monitor their performance and review their service on an ongoing basis, with benchmarking against national GAP average and performance in ‘Top 10’ units.
• Prior to implementation of the GAP programme, units are asked to complete a baseline audit to enable a comparative analysis between pre and post implementation.
